Look for something new on Cedar Avenue South by Nokomis? Coming in August on the spot of the old Dairy Queen is Grand Ole Creamery. Originally located on Grand Avenue for 22 years, Grand Ole Creamery is a family owned and run operation that was voted one of the top 10 ice cream parlors in the US.
The secret is they make all their own ice cream in the back using the freshest of local ingredients and no preservatives.
A family friendly atmosphere, their best selling ice cream is their Black Hills Gold, made from their award winning vanilla ice cream mixed with caramelized praline pecans and Oreos. Banquet, catering and specialty ice cream cakes are always available and made to your order.
Minutes from Lake Nokomis beach, it offers a new building and landscaping with plenty of parking.
